For mid-sized manufacturers, distributors and construction firms whose inside sales, purchasing or materials planning team captures orders, creates items, compares quotes, plans materials or schedules shipping every day, and does much of it by hand. The benefit is greatest when orders arrive in many formats, as email, PDF or Excel, and your customers have their own rules.
If almost all orders already arrive by electronic data interchange (EDI), if only a few cases come up each week, or if you are looking for standard software to set up yourself. Our agents are tailored to your processes. That only pays off when there is enough manual work.
Text recognition turns a PDF into readable text, but does not understand what is meant and needs a separate template for every order format. Click robots repeat fixed click sequences and stop as soon as a screen looks different. EDI transmits orders reliably, but only from customers who use EDI themselves. An AI agent reads orders in any format, including free text in an email, applies your customers' rules and prepares the case in your ERP. Your team only has to approve.
